Kumquat Marmalade

For picnic baskets, breakfasts and before dinner snacks.

Ingredients

500g of hand-picked kumquats
250g of sugar
450g of water

Cut the kumquats in halfs and take off the seeds.

Slice the kumquats and add the sugar and water into a pot and bring contents up to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and boil for 30 to 45 minutes, util they start to appear translucent. Remove from the heat and wait until it is cold.

Transfer marmalade into a glass jar and enjoy!

Marmalade will keep for about 10 days in the refrigerator.
